From Milton Keynes, England, Ricky gained a degree in English and American Literature from the University of Kent and completed his teacher training with the Bedfordshire Schools Training Partnership. He has spent the majority of his teaching career at sixth forms in Bedford and London. He has written educational magazine articles for the English and Media Centre in London on texts such as A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen and Hamlet by William Shakespeare. As an English teacher, he strives to help students become passionate readers and skilled writers. In his spare time, Ricky enjoys trips to the theatre, music concerts, and attending sporting events.
