LCIS Students Take Centre Stage at Rolle Jazz Festival 2026

LCIS Students Take Centre Stage at Rolle Jazz Festival 2026 - Rolle Jazz Festival 2026
For the second consecutive year, students from La Côte International School Aubonne (LCIS) took part in the Rolle Jazz Festival, sharing their passion for music at one of the region's exciting cultural events.

From 24 to 27 September 2026, the historic Château de Rolle came alive with the sounds of jazz as talented musicians from around the world gathered on the shores of Lake Geneva.

Following their first participation in 2025, our LCIS students were delighted to return to the festival, this time with their very own concert featured in the official programme.

Young Talent in the Spotlight

On Saturday 26 September, our young musicians took to the stage at La Salle des Chevaliers for a special student concert.

Part of the festival's programme of live performances, the free concert offered our students a wonderful platform to share their musical talents with the wider community.

Performing at a festival alongside established international artists is an exciting opportunity for young musicians. Beyond developing their musical abilities, experiences like these help students build confidence, express their creativity and discover the joy of performing for an audience.

Inspired by International Jazz Artists

The 2026 Rolle Jazz Festival brought together an impressive line-up of musicians from across the international jazz scene.

With performances by artists including Omri Mor, Christos Rafalides, Tatum Greenblatt, Itai Kriss and Moncef Genoud, the festival celebrated musical diversity, improvisation and artistic collaboration.

The programme also featured masterclasses and jam sessions, creating an inspiring atmosphere where emerging talent and professional musicians could share their love of music.

For our students, being part of this vibrant musical environment was another opportunity to connect their learning at school with the wider world of performing arts.

Building Confidence Through Music

At LCIS, we believe music education goes far beyond learning an instrument or mastering a piece of music.

Through performance opportunities, students develop valuable skills such as teamwork, perseverance, communication and self-expression.

Our continued involvement in the Rolle Jazz Festival reflects our commitment to providing meaningful experiences beyond the classroom, helping students explore their interests and grow as confident, creative individuals.

Proud to Be Part of Our Local Community

Returning to the Rolle Jazz Festival for a second year also highlights the importance of our connections with the local community.

Set in the heart of Rolle, just a short distance from our school in Aubonne, the festival brings together music lovers of all ages and backgrounds.

We are proud to see our students contributing to this cultural celebration and sharing the stage with the wider musical community.

Congratulations to all our young performers for representing LCIS at the Rolle Jazz Festival 2026!
